Mineral, Clay, Flame
At SaraGaia, we see ourselves as humble apprentices to nature, selecting stones that have slept in the earth’s crust for millions of years and allowing them to speak through fire. What you hold is a dialogue between earth and flame — geological time, solidified. Ocher, rich in iron oxide, transforms under reduction into the crystallized olive depth of our Tea Dust glaze. Malachite, a copper-bearing mineral, emerges from the kiln as the tender blush of Peach Bloom or the intensity of Pomegranate Red. Sumali, the historic cobalt pigment, gives rise to Sea Sparkle — a shifting, star-like blue shaped by mineral composition and flame. Each glaze is not applied, but revealed — a record of mineral, heat, and time.

Modern Courtyard Rooted in Porcelain Heritage

Crafted in the “Porcelain Capital,” utilizing the same high-quality Kaolin deposits that have defined ceramics for over a millennium. A modern form born from ancient geological strata.
The Nature of Handmade
Due to the raw nature of our mineral glazes and the hand-thrown process, slight variations in glaze thickness, texture, and color are to be expected. These are not imperfections, but the signature of the artisan and the fire, ensuring that the piece you hold is singularly yours.

The Finished Form
“A study in mineral transformation, each glaze begins as raw earth and is completed by flame.Through heat and time, iron, copper, and cobalt emerge not as surface, but as depth — a record of material, process, and origin.”
“Rooted in porcelain heritage yet distinctly modern, the collection bridges ancient craft with contemporary ritual. Each piece brings the weight of tradition into everyday use, where material depth meets refined living.”
"Defined by disciplined form and a rigorous process, the vessels express a cohesive design language shaped by hand and fire.Proportion and material integrity converge in objects both sculptural and functional."
The Masters Behind the Craft
These are the hands that shape the earth. With every deliberate touch, they pour their warmth and life into the vessels.
